Most of you know that Jeff has been teaching seminary for the past four years. During that time we have been able to be a part of 4 youth conferences, temple youth celebration, camps, and just about everything that the youth did. We both love the youth and serving in any way we can. Because of that love and devotion that Jeff has, doors have been opened that we never thought possible. The Lord has sent us down a road that has led us to where we are today.
So, our big news is (drum roll please) Jeff has been offered a job from the Church Education System working for Seminaries and Institutes. This is something that we been thinking about and working towards for a long time. The church has an extensive interview process. They do not hire just anyone. People that teach for the church are the best of the best. We are so proud of Jeff. He has a real talent and he has been refining that gift. Watch out for Jeff, you might buy a book written by him, or send your children to EFY where he is a teacher. The youth are blessed to have a teacher that cares as much as he does. We love him and we are thankful to our Heavenly Father for guiding our life.
It really is no accident that we were prompted to move out here and now he will be working minutes from our home. These things do not just happen, they are from our kind Father in Heaven.

I'm so proud of you little brother! I admire you and look up to you in many ways. I wish we lived closer so that I could learn more from you. You really do have a gift for teaching and those kids are lucky to have you for a leader! I can't wait to buy your first book! :) Love you lots!
YEAH!!!This is such great news an what an amazing opportunity's for your family!!!Talk about a blessing and yes!!!!, Jeff is the perfect guy for the job!!! I still can't get over it!!! Having sat next to Jeff in seminary for years as a youth myself I would have never guessed!
Wow... that is wonderful news!!! And Jeff was born to be around and teach the Youth. I don't know many who can get others as excited and interested in what he's talking about as Jeff Decker. He just draws people in... and that was back in the day. I can only imagine how that talents grown.

WOW!! Reading your post reminds me that Heavenly Father really does hear and answer prayers. He is in control. I'm so excited for you guys!! I know you've always hoped for something like this to come along. I'm sure you're so happy! Jeff will be great!
