Happy Birthday Jeff

Today Jeff turned 31. For his Birthday we all ran a race. Right down the street at the college there was a Race for Humanity. Jeff ran the 10k then ran the 5k with some friends from church. The kids and I walked from our house over to the race and met Jeff and some friends there. We signed Evan up for the mile fun run. He was so excited. I decided to run it with Evan because Jeff had already ran a lot today. I was not ready for that mile at all. I was in jeans and not very good shoes but I thought it would be fun just a walk jog thing. NOPE! Evan took off like a pro. We wanted to win. You can see how determined he was and how silly I was.

Evan Finished in just over 9 minutes. Good for an adult, AWESOME for a four year old!

Well, there's Jeff present: see his wife actually run. But really it was a great morning, to see Evan enjoy running and being healthy. It was a great start to the day.

Happy Birthday to Jeff. He is a great guy that is passionate about being outdoors camping or running and just enjoying life and staying fit. I am so proud of my two boys.

Baby Girl Decker

Our sweet little girl was born January 19th 2010. She was 7lb 5oz and was 20in long. So the name..... we had to pick that in the hospital, we had a hard time with this one.

Birthday and Halloween

It has been a long time and a lot of things have happened this summer and fall, BUT lets just start with what we have been up to the last couple of weeks.

October is pretty busy for us. My Birthday was on the 17th and I got to attend Time Out for Women. I loved it. Then we had Evan's Birthday. And last week Halloween. I know I just want to see the pictures so here we go.

Update - May

I have been told that you can tell when someone is pregnant when there blog goes untouched forever. That's right.... we are three month into making baby #3. I have been super sick and hate being pregnant. However we still have tried to have fun this summer. I will try and give you guys an update!

JEFF'S an OLD MAN

Jeff turned 30 on April 24th. We had a fun surprise for him on his Birthday. Some of are wonderful friends all got together and all dressed up as old people. Jeff knew that we were going to the Harrington's for what he thought was a small get together. When we got there and everyone was dressed up, his first words were, "Oh fun..... I want to dress up too." Luckily he has a wife that had cloths for him to change into.

We then all went to Denny's (because that's were old people go right), we had planed on going to play Bingo but they closed to early. After dinner we went back to the Harrington's and the Grandma's in the house rocked it out. We all practiced this hip hop dance for Jeff. We had it on tape but I erased it before we could even see it. SAD. Jeff got lots of fun presents, all things for a Grandpa.

It was a lot of fun. We have great friends. Happy 30th Jeff!

Climbing Mt. Whitney in the Snow!!

This last weekend, Jeff and his friends used every bit of energy to scale Mt. Whitney. (the highest peak in N. America - 14,505 ft. 22 miles round trip) They hadn't counted on there being so much snow. They woke up at 3AM and hiked for a total of 15 hours!! Jeff said that this was the hardest thing he has ever done physically. (and he's run two marathons!)

Although he was exhausted, and came home with 2 blisters, a gash in his leg from the crampons they wore, and a sunburn under his nose from the reflected sun, Jeff said that he really had a good day and learned a few things about himself up there... but, he said "I don't ever plan on doing that again!"

Easter Sunday

Easter was really busy because of Youth Conference. We were so tired! Saturday night was the big dance. So we stayed out late dancing like we were teenagers still. It was a lot of fun. So on Sunday we had church and I had Sharing Time. Then we did not even go home after church. We went out to Newport Beach for a baptism. Then rushed back home for the Testimony Meeting. It was a really long day! We didn't even get to eat anywhere in there. So on Tuesday we had an after Easter dinner with the Harrington's. What a day. Somewhere in there though we did have the spirit of Easter. The knowledge that it is not about candy and a bunny, it is about Christ and that we can be together forever because of it.

Youth Conference 09

We love the youth in the church! This was our 5th time being parents for Youth Conference and each year has been different and we have loved every year! This year we had ten girls in our Decker Fam. We loved all these girls and had so much fun!

Sadie Turned One

Happy Birthday to our sweet little Sadie. I can not believe she is one. We had a little party for her. Her two aunts were here, Julie and Diane. So we had a dance party with the wiggles. We projected the movie so that the Wiggles were life size and danced around and opened persents and had cake. It was a fun day for her.

She is the sweetest little thing. She put up with so much from Evan. She is one tough cookie. She is so pretty but she is going to be a tom boy playing with her brother. I love her so much. She is so happy. Jeff said the other day that the way she looks and acts sometimes makes him think that she really dose love being here on earth and with our family. I am so glad that we have Sadie in our family. Can not imagen our family without her sweet smile.

Happy Valentines Day

We had a fun Valentines Day. On Friday night we went out to eat with friends and then for Saturday me and my friend made plans for the day. We woke up early got out of the house at 7am and took our husbands to the Ausaz canyon and went on a really really long bike ride. We went 8 miles up the mountain and then had a picnic on the very top. We had cheese and crackers and sprinkling cider. It was really nice once we got to the top. I thought I was going to die getting there. It was hard but worth it at the top. It was a great date. On the way down we stop and did some exploring. There was fun water falls.

Great Outdoors

We have decided that we want to be out doories people. This is a good way to get out as a family and have fun. We have been taking little "hikes" as a family. Evan loves it. This past weekend we went on our first camp out as a family. Not many places in the U.S. can you go camping in January. It was a lot of fun. We went with our good friends the Harrington's. It is fun to be able to go with other people. We have been having fun scooping out all the cool camping gear.

This past year I have started a little business / hobby / me time. I make bows and flowers for all ages. I love it. This year I hope to do more business and make money. Yosemite

What a great trip. We went up north to see my brother for Thanksgiving. While we were there we made a trip to Yosemite. I grew up going to that park..... it was so good to be back. It felt right! It was good for me. It is good for the soul to be in that beauty and the grandness. I loved it. I loved seeing Evan and Sadie there. Evan keeping on asking to go back. He says I go climb mountain again, Please, I really want to. I really want to go back to. So.... here is some of my favorite pictures from that trip.

Josh is Home

Trick or Treat Give Me Lots

Halloween is a lot of fun in the Decker house. Each year, we have dressed up as a family in a theme. This year was "Gilligan's Island". Evan was Gilligan and sweet Sadie was our movie star Ginger. Jeff was the Skipper and I was Maryanne. The truck or treat was fun. It was fun to see every ones costume. We had guest appearance by Sarah Palien and her husband. We had some other really good costumes.

Then on Halloween night, we went around the neighborhood. Evan still fit the kangaroo from last year so..... Sadie just had a fun Halloween shirt and festive bow that I made. Evan got A LOT of candy and we didn't even get to that many house before he told us he wanted to go home. That night in his prayers he said "Thank you I go trick or treat and everyone love my costume and I go hop hop." Fun stuff. We love that kid!

October is so busy around here. We have a ton of Birthdays: Jeff's Mom, Me (Mary), Josh, Parker, Evan and Carly. Lots of Birthdays. This month our Disney pass's expired, sooooo..... we took our last trip on the 24th. That was so fun to have those pass's, but I think that we will take a break and get them again when Sadie is two. So with cramming Disneyland and Birthdays and Fairs and I am trying to do craft fairs for my bows.... life has been busy!

Chalker Chicks

My sisters all got together for a girls weekend. We met in St. George and stayed at the nicest resort. Sadie got to come too because she is still little and needs mommy. So Holly, Sadie, and I all drove there Friday and stayed tell Sunday. Diane and Julie drove down together. We had a full house! We thought it was a hotel...... NO it was a house. It had a washer and dryer, a full kitchen with dish's and pots. It was a home. The bathroom was ridiculous. The bathtub was so nice. I have never seen this cool of hot tub. The jets were on the bottom and was more like fine bubbles. Oh and every night we got hot cookies and milk in the frig.

We layed out by the pool. Went out to eat. We went shopping! We made bows. Most importantly we just got to be together. It was such a nice weekend. It is now going to be an annual outing. Carly is coming next year unless something crazy happens and she has another baby two weeks before.

I can not say enough about how cool this resort is. If anyone has seen High School Musical Two.... we stayed at that resort. Good times. I love my sisters, they are my best friends. I am so lucky to have three sisters that are all so different. We really had a good time. See you guys there in a year! Until then, back to real world were you have to clean your own dish's and make your own bed.

Time for everyone to go back to school, but not us. Its time for us to go back to Disneyland. We have so much fun going to the park for a couple of hours. Get out ride some rids. We are really blessed, we have a pretty good life. I love when the whole family just spends time together. Jeff is such a good dad. We really do have a good time with our kids.

No Time

We have been so busy this month. Jeff has been busy with the new job and training and planning. He is also in the Young Mens Presidency, sooooo..... that takes a lot of time. He was out of town, gone camping, busy busy busy. I am trying to keep up with two kids. With any free time I have been working on bows. The bows are a lot of fun and I am excited that people like them.

Sadie and Evan are getting so big. They play really well. Evan is a great big brother. He shares with Sadie pretty good. He know that he has to get Sadie a new toy before he takes whatever she has away. My patients is gone by the end of the week, but really they are both great kids. I love them to pieces.

I am so happy that summer is almost over! This family loves the fall. Fall is the best time of year. We always laugh and say we need to live in Colorado. We love to wear jackets and sweaters. I love fall fashion. So yeah! No more heat, lets get the sweaters out! Plus everyone is so much happier when we can be outside and it not be so hot.

Moving Day

Sad day for the Decker's. The Chalker's moved! My brother Jon and his wife Carly have lived in Lake Elsinore for six years. We have been out here by them for the past year and a half. I have always been really close to Jon and after we got married we have been even closer it seems. Our families just get along and we do everything with them. Evan's best friend is little Mathew. And now there gone. I really didn't think it would happen, it is very sure real. I didn't think it would effect me as much as it did when we drove away after the house was packed and Carly was packed ready to go in the car. It really hit me and it is hard to see them all go. We will see them still BUT it is not the same. So we are all sad to see them go. Carly is like a sister, she and I have really become close. I could always count on Carly! My brother married above himself. She really is a great mom and wife and a really good friend. We love them and I really hope that this move is a fresh start for them and that it will be a good move! We love you guys.

Carly is having her 3rd kid and all three will be in diapers. So.... we threw her a Diaper Shower. We had everyone just bring a package of diapers for there gift. She end up with a lot of diapers. Woohoo! It was a really nice night. Carly deserves the world, I hope it was a nice night for her.

Five Years Down..... Eternity to Go

Last weekend we celebrated the five year mark. It is funny to think back to when we were teenagers, dating one boy for a year was a big deal. But now that we have been married for five years, it does not seem like that long. When you look at the big picture, it is nothing.

Looking back on the last five years is kind of fun. We realised that we have come a long way, and have been blessed. So here is my list of the top five things that we have been able to do.

1. We have two of the most wonderful kids. I love both of them so much. It is so hard and so rewarding being a parent. I would do anything for those two. They have taught me so much. They are perfect!

2. We have been able to travel. We have been to: Kauai, London, Paris, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Chicago, and of course Utah. That has been really fun to be able to travel the world like that. We have been very blessed.

3. Changed jobs. Jeff started out working for a life insurance company. Then he moved over to Honeyville where he worked for his old mission pres. And now he is able to have to coolest job ever, working as a seminary coordinator and teaching institute. Each job has been great. Looking back we can see that each job change has been so good for our family.

4. We are home owners. We started out in a really really small studio apartment in Tustin. Form there we bought a condo in Tustin. And now we own a beautiful new home in Menifee. We feel so grateful that we have the spirit to guide us. I do not know how you can feel sure about a move with out the reassurance from the spirit.

5. We have had some really good times and really hard times. But.... we have grown up a lot. We are always being tested and growing. We have built a life together and have grown up together. I do not know where we will be in another five years, but the last five have been a fun ride.

She's Crafty

For the past month I have been making bows for Sadie and they are really cute, soooo..... I thought that I should start selling them. I have always been crafty and loved to make stuff. I have been thinking of a way for me, a stay at home mom, that I could do something to make some extra money. Something that I could feel like I am doing something with my time and by doing that, feel better about myself. So this is it! I am making bows and going to sell them online and sell them at "bow" parties. It is still in the works, but I think that it will be really fun.

All it takes is ribbon, flowers, buttons, and a lot of hot glue and you got a really pretty bow. I have made these bows so that you can change them out. You have one clip or head band as a base and then switch out all the bows and flowers. The secret is Velcro.

4th of July

What a fun long day! WE went to the Lake with Jon and Carly. It was a lot of work and fun! Nothing is easy in 110 weather and two kids. Poor Carly is pregnant too. BUT, it was a lot of fun. The kids had so much fun. We were out there all day. Everyone loves Jon's boat and being on the water. And at the end of the day we had fireworks right on the water. Evan did not last for that but, he had such a fun day!

Summer Is Here

It was about 110 outside this weekend. It is going to be a hot summer! We got a new little pool for the side yard. It is 12 feet round and 3 feet deep. It is the perfect size for our little family. We can all fit in it and play. The best part is Evan can touch the bottom. We are going to try to keep cool in the hot weather.

We have been doing a lot of work on the backyard, and by next month it should all be done. My super husband has been working really hard. We bought wood and made a planter box / retaining wall all along the edge of our backyard. Then we moved 5 yards of sand to the back for under the swing set. If that wasn't enough, we moved 10 yards of dirt to the back yard to prep the back for seed. Now we are trying to grow seed! I say we in all these projects but, it was mainly Jeff. He really has worked way beyond most people's breaking points. When it is all done we will post all our hard work!

So, that's what we have been busy with. All while Evan and Sadie our growing up and getting bigger and bigger. Oh, and big news for Evan, our little boy is potty trained. He has accidents and has a diaper for bed BUT, he is doing really well! Woohoo!

We took a family vacation. We had to go to go to Utah for Jeff's new job to go over some HR stuff so...... we took to whole family. Evan had so much fun with all his cousins. I had a lot of fun seeing my family. I got to go out with my sisters and mom. We went to get our hair done, we shopped a little, and we went out to eat. That really was so nice for me to get out and be with the people I love so much. We also got to see some of Jeff's friends and his old scout master.

The car ride was not bad either. We traveled at night so they would sleep. And it worked. They both did so well. It really could not have gone any better. I am so thankful for my family. I loved the time with all my sisters and with my kids AND Jeff. He was great and helped a lot. What a good trip!

Big News

Most of you know that Jeff has been teaching seminary for the past four years. During that time we have been able to be a part of 4 youth conferences, temple youth celebration, camps, and just about everything that the youth did. We both love the youth and serving in any way we can. Because of that love and devotion that Jeff has, doors have been opened that we never thought possible. The Lord has sent us down a road that has led us to where we are today.

So, our big news is (drum roll please) Jeff has been offered a job from the Church Education System working for Seminaries and Institutes. This is something that we been thinking about and working towards for a long time. The church has an extensive interview process. They do not hire just anyone. People that teach for the church are the best of the best. We are so proud of Jeff. He has a real talent and he has been refining that gift. Watch out for Jeff, you might buy a book written by him, or send your children to EFY where he is a teacher. The youth are blessed to have a teacher that cares as much as he does. We love him and we are thankful to our Heavenly Father for guiding our life.

It really is no accident that we were prompted to move out here and now he will be working minutes from our home. These things do not just happen, they are from our kind Father in Heaven.

My Buddy and Me

Evan has two best friends, and he has given both a nickname. Mathew in Evan talk is Dah-Kah and then Lily is Hay-Gay. I have no idea where he comes up with this. He has his own language for a lot of stuff. Evan makes us laugh all the time. The other day Sadie spit up on him and he was mad, soooo.... he spit on her. He is super smart too. He now points out every Nissan Altima on the road and says "Daddy's car", sometimes he will point out Camry's and say "Holly's car". We love Evan and his crazy ways.

Baby Blessing

Today Jeff gave Sadie a baby blessing. Sadie looked to cute for words on her big day. I love that Jeff, as her father, can give her a blessing. It is such a bonding moment for a father to be able to hold there tiny little baby and give them a priesthood blessing. There is something very special and sacred about a babies blessing. We are very blessed that Jeff is worthy of such a wonderful thing.

Our little girl is hitting the two month mark. She is growing so so sooo..... fast. My kids do not like to stay small. I do not know why I get the big kids, I am 5'2 and they are going to be bigger then me by the time they are five. They are both too cute for words and we love them.

She already loves the Johnny Jumper. I tried putting her in it this week and she was so excited. As you can see, she even fell asleep in it. She loves standing on her feet, I think she is going to be an early walker too.

Evan loves to go to Disneyland. He call's Disneyland - Mickey Mouse. We try to get out there as much as we can. It is nice to get out and have a fun place to go. We are so lucky to be able to go as much as we do. Evan wants to go every day, and Sadie likes to be outside in the snugly.

I am a very lucky mother that gets to stay home with Evan and Sadie all day. Some days I do not feel so lucky when my two year old is driving me nuts.... but, I know that there is no where else I would rather be and I truly am blessed to have both of them. Our day is pretty much the same old stuff, we play at home and it is just us most of the time. Evan has picked up on things that I do. Some of those things include vacuuming the floor and plucking my eye brows and holding Sadie. Oh and he even sings to her. He really is a very funny little boy that is very observant.

Yard Work

Woohoo.... the front of our house looks so good. I hated the stuff that the home builder put in the flower beds. We have a good friend that is a landscaper and he came and helped us out. He really knows what he is doing. It looks great.

And.... In the backyard we got Evan a "park" (as he likes to call it). My husband is so handy, he put the whole thing together. It took about ten hours and a millon screws. Good job Jeff, it turned out great!

Easter Weekend

Easter came so early this year. It was a really busy weekend for us. We had a "Hunt", Mathew's birthday party at the lake, Jeff's mom came out, and dinner with our nagihbors. Church on Easter Sunday was one of the best sacarment meetings I have been to in a long time. So... you can say we had a very nice Easter! Oh and our little Sadie hit the one month mark too.

Three Weeks and Going to Disneyland

This little girl is getting so cute. Each day she gets prettier and prettier. We are lucky that she is so good, she has quickly adapted to Evan's active, and adventurous disposition. He loves her so much and is really good with her, BUT he does put stickers on her face and drive his cars all over her and the list goes on. I hope they will be friends, and it looks like they will be! He is already sharing his favorite toy with her.

And he helps her when she needs her pacifier. He is a good little helper even if its upside-down.

Evan loves when Sadie is awake. He tries to tickle her and make her smile.

They are good kids and we love them so much. They are both spoiled! We took Sadie to Disneyland for the 1st time. It was a good trip. Evan stayed in the stroller and we got to play and dance and even ride some rides. Good family fun.

Two Weeks

Two weeks already! I wish that time went this fast when she was in me! She is so sweet and I just love her so much! We really are blessed to have two of the cutest kids! Here are some more fun pictures and movies.

Holly came out and so we took the kids to see there GG. It was nice to visit her and Evan was very well behaved, I was impressed.

Sadie Jay Decker

She was 20 inches long and was 8lb 10oz. A Big baby for small little Mary! She was born on February 22nd at 3:53pm.

Our sweet little girl is here! She is such a good baby. We love her so much already and feel so blessed. I cannot believe we have received this new baby from our Heavenly Father. We have been trusted to raise these two wonderful sweet spirits. I hope we are up to the task because they are so special!

This was the night before we went in to have the C-Section (we knew it would be the 22nd if not before.)
It was kind of scary to be strapped down to the table and have your guts being tugged at, but it was worth it all. As I laid there, and was scared, I thought of Evan and the temple and how we are an eternal family and that got me through just fine. It all went really well.

1st family picture. This was in the hospital, still recovering. Recovery has not been too bad at all. I was able to take a shower the next day, and I tell you what, taking a shower does wonders. It was great to be able to be clean and put on clean pj's, not the gown that shows your bum!

Her Name: Sadie Jay Decker (the 'Jay' is after Jeff's Dad).

While I was in the hospital, Jeff's mom came to take care of Evan. She was a big help! We wanted Evan to be able to stay at his own house. We tried to make it as easy on him as we could. And so, if he cannot have his mom, Grandma is the next best thing. He loves his "Ga-ma". It was nice that she took some days off work to help us. Thanks Thanks Thanks!

Jeff has been a big help through this. He has done everything as far as Evan goes. He has done the night time diapers, naps, you name it he has been there for Evan. We have tried to make this easy on Evan, so we have gotten him a couple new toys (from Sadie of course). He got two new Buzz Lightyear toys, and a truck!

It is so nice to have a van. We all had enough space. It was so nice!!!

Evan loves Sadie. He was so happy to show her his room and the house. When we got close to the house he said, "Sadie we're home. Sadie house!" He is a good little helper too. When she cries he says, "Help Sadie." It is so fun to see them together.

Evan's Last Days Of Being The Only Child

We have had so much fun with Evan being the only child. He has gotten so much love and attention. I don't know how he will do sharing his parents with his little sister, but we will see. These are some of the funny little things that Evan does every day. He is all boy, but then again he also is our little helper and will help with laundry and every time I vaccuum he has to get his out and vaccuum to. He makes us laugh, I hope he makes you laugh too.

Evan and Sadie's Room

Soo.... yeah, I think that our little girl will be a Sadie. We have been having fun decorating both Evan's and Sadie's room.

Evan loves Curious George and so we painted him on his wall. He also loves airplanes and so we have three old planes hanging from the ceiling. I really like the way that it has all turned out. Its a fun boy room.

We went with Blue walls so that it is not too girly for Jeff. I made the bedding, it took a long time, I think it turned out ok. (I really do not know how to sew, I just try.)

Looking Back

The baby will be here soon! We are so happy to be having a little girl. Evan is going to be a great big brother and we are all excited for her to join this family. Our life is going to change here real soon with this addition. So tonight as I could not sleep (like every night). I came out and started looking at old pictures. Life is always changing. So heres some of my fav's!

Christmas Time

This Christmas was really nice. We did all most all our shopping the day after Thanksgiving (Yes, that was nuts, we got up at 3:30, but it was worth the good deals). We also got the tree up and all the decorations on Thanksgiving. So, this Christmas seasson we really were albe to relax and enjoy the real meaning of Christmas. We had family and friends over and we just enjoyed being together as a family. It was a great Christmas!

Our little boy is all grown up and sleeping in his bunk bed. It was a really smooth transition, I was very happy! He slept so well in his crib and we had him so well trained that I didn't want to switch. But... it was time, we got another one coming really soon. So about two weeks ago we had him take his nap in his bed and then at night we tried to put him in his crib but, he climbed out for the first time. After that it's been his big boy bed and no turning back. We took the crib out and have now set it up in the baby's room. The baby's room is looking very cute!

Happy Halloween

We went back to the OC for Halloween. We went to Kate and Matt's. Evan loves their daughter Lilly and Baby Jackson, plus we love hanging out with them too. We all went to Kate's moms house to go trick or treating. Evan is the adopted grandson in that family. Her parents are so nice. They have the perfect neighborhood for Halloween, we went trick or treating there last year too.

At the beginning of the night Evan was the first in the group and by the end he became the last. He had too much energy to start. I think it was the third house we went, Evan knocked and when the door opened he just went into the house to the table of candy. It was so funny, we all were laughing. He is so much fun to have around.

Trip to Disneyland

Well.... what can I say it was the happiest place. We stayed at a hotel so that we could be close, even though we are only a hour away. It was nice to just get away from everything and have family time. Evan had so much fun at the shows and the rides. It started to get crowed bc I think every BYU football fan was in town for the game but that was canceled and so they came to Disneyland. We saw so many BYU stuff, and other people that you just know are Mormon. Then bc of all the smoke schools were canceled so they came to the park too. So it got a little busy by the end of our trip but it was still really good. Evan's Favorite Things: 1)Playing in the shooting water in Bug's Land. 2)The playhouse Disney show 3)All the sugar we gave him. 4)All the music to dance to. 5)Having mommy and daddy with him.

Count Your Blessings

We have a neat thing that happened to us, a blessing out of the blue. Jeff seems like he is always helping someone move, he is one of those guys that says yes to everything. Well, from going to help this time he got a free treadmill out of it. Jeff is a big time runner. He has done two Marathon's (that 26.2 miles, that's nuts!). We have been really thinking about getting one, well Jeff has always wanted one BUT he really was looking to buy one soon bc its hard to get out and run and will only get harder to get away with a new one on the way. So this really was gift and blessing to us. We were so happy!

On another note, all the fires here did not effect us, but there is so many people that it has. Just another reason to stop and look at how blessed we are. That's my Sunday plug.

Trunck or Treat

We went to the ward trunk or treat this weekend and we had a lot of fun. We are kind of dorks, we all dress up as a family. This year we were Outback Theme. Evan was our kangaroo and Jeff and I were the Kangaroo Rescue. Last year we did the Wizard of Oz. Evan loves Halloween. Lost of candy. At the trunk or treat we got second place for our costumes so I guess being a dork pays off sometimes.

It's A Girl

Well, we found out that we are having a girl. We are so excited, Evan will be a great big brother. She is due on leap year, but no worries because she will have to be a C-Section and so she will be at least a week early. Evan just turned two yesterday, woohoo. We are going to get Disneyland pass's for his Birthday. We are going to go stay out there for about three days and go to Disneyland and see all our friends in Orange County.

Evan and I just got back from our trip to Utah. We left daddy behind and we went to go see Julie and Mike's new baby. Evan had so much fun with Bella and Parker. It was nice to see everyone, BUT it's nice to come home.

Summer's Almost Over

Well, the heat is almost gone. This summer in the dessert heat has not been fun. We found out that we are going to have number two and all summer I have been so so sick and we had record breaking heat. Bad combo. Well.... I'm glad that it's almost over. We love the fall. The sweaters and jackets. It is a lot of fun. We find out what we are having at the end of the week and then I go to Utah. My sister Julie just had her baby and we are so happy for them. Jeff will be lonely for a couple weeks. Jeff's hard at work and seminary. Seminary is good, he has about 30 kid every morning at 6 in the morning but he loves it. He is so good with the youth and spends a lot of time working on leassons and thinking of his kids.

HOT HOT SUMMER

Well..... we love having a house but living in the desert and not the beach can get hot. This summer it has been really hot so we stay inside and have air, thank goodness. I think this summer has been rough too because we are expecting number two. I have been really sick this time too. It is not easy to take care of Evan when you can not take care of yourself. Good news though, summer is almost over and I should start to feel better because I'm almost four months now. So by the end of the month things should start to look up.

Evan is learning all his animals and its very cute. He is the biggest love bug, but he's also very tough. In primary they say he is the bigest dare devil. He is so much fun. I just wish we could get him to stay in scarment.
